Hi looking to make my second trip to Bonaire from Chicago. The CON flight has been less than $600, but now it's up to over $900 for my dates June 20-June 28. Do you think the fare will come back down? or should I look to change my dates. I'm kicking myself for not getting it when I saw it for the great price.
Thanks

I highly doubt it - you may want to check with bonairepros they may have a better rate/deal for a/f rates

2 days ago the price for EWR-BON-EWR was 540 without tax. I would not give up yet.

The con web booking is a little like a slot machine , on one night I got three rates for the same flight . Keep trying!

H! You might want to try signing on to Yapta.com and register (free) and enter your flight information and they weill notify you of changes in the fare rates....you can do this before or after you buy tickets.

I just saved a lot of money....money is being credited back to my VISA card. Bought our tickets on 11-1-07 and the price dropped a couple of times last week and Yapta notified me each time....I contacted CON and they are crediting the difference onto my card.

Yapta.com is a great tool!! cb

Did you have to pay a $100 fee to get the credit?

I am 90% sure the price will come down. Plug the flights into www.yapta.com. My April Antigua trip came down 257.00 USD!!!! Thank you Yapta.

Hi, Linda...I don't think I was charged with any fee...might be because we are flying First Class but I don't think so.

Anyone out there charged a fee for the lowered prices yet?? Carole

PS Thanks, again, Ann!! Your tip about Yapta was terrific!!

I called Continental when my daughter's fare went down $125. We purchased it in July for her March/April trip. Continental told me there was a $100 fee to get the $25 credit. Asked for an upgrade on the domestic flight of her ticket.... but no go.

I'll be watching the continental.com site closely,
Last time I booked a few months ahead and got a great deal (EWR-BON-EWR) on line special on a Tues. ($350. RT) but that was for a Sept flight,at a few months notice. I'm looking to do that again soon for May.
That Yapa.com sounds good too, Carol. I'll be checking it out.
Maybe we will be there this year with you and Joe.
I've been in touch with Divi.
Taking my chances again.

I am trying to arrange those weeks, I really like the weather(more wind than Sept.) and being on Bonaire with all of you guys again will be great.
We have such great times together.
We did have a terrific time with Sherry & Barry last time in Sept., but I don't want to wait all summer to go, I'd rather start my summer with a carribean tan. The winter is too long and I like looking foward to our original weeks.
I'll be in touch !

Carole B and Lorraine, Which weeks are you at Divi? I think we just miss you when we're there (weeks 19 & 20). Would love to meet up some day.

So how does the Yapta site work? Do I book first with Continental, then register that info with Yapta or can I do it all through Yapta? I need to book flights for 5 from Pittsburgh,Pa for our Aug trip. And is it advisable to wait until later to book or do it now/Jan for Aug??
This is alway the tough part and I never have been good at gamblin'! Darenda

You can also check on leaving on Saturday and sunday. I just book 4 tickets leaving Saturday July 12 for 190,000 miles. The tickets were 599$ if you bought them.
I was told the tickets are set up in blocks. 10 seats at this price, then 10 at the next higher and so on. So I don't think they will come down unless the flight is not selling out.
Mark
