We travelled from Bonaire to Aruba on the 14th with Tiara Air and noted that DAE flights were delayed. On the 15th we flew to Curacao and again noted that all DAE flights were delayed by several hours. The 12:00 noon flight to Bonaire that a friend of ours was on finally boarded around 17:00. Divi flights and our Tiara Air flights were on time. On the KLM flight home (Monday) the lady sat next to me had missed her KLM trip to Amsterdam on the Friday as DAE were late on the Friday getting her to Bonaire (from Curacao)

Henk, three years ago our adult children had exactly the same experience. Not only did their plane depart without them after being told it was delayed they missed their connection to Miami and had to spend the night in Curacao. After complaints we did get a voucher for future flights but who wants to ever use it.

This is not good news as we are using them from Aruba to Curacao, and then on to Bonaire. Back to Aruba the same way. Oh well. No point in worrying about it now. Just hope for the best.

I have been pulling my hair out. Usually when I email DAE I get a reply in 24 hours. This is essential since my clients have only 24 hours to hold their international flights. I have spent oh about 100,00 ANG being on hold the last 3 weeks for a few clients. I finally gave up. Today I recvd a call from DAE regarding a res I tried to make. The kind agent explained this. They are down from 8 staff to 3 making reservations and answering phones and emails. Emails are being answered within a few days. She hopes the situation improves soon. My heart goes out to the stressed staff but meanwhile they are losing my business and making us all a little bit crazy.

I am wanting to change my DAE flight from Curacao to Bonaire. I would rather fly Divi. It's cheaper and we can get to Bonaire 3 hours earlier. Right now we have a five hour layover in Curacao with DAE. Sounds like it could be longer....

We were booked for the 8:00 AM flight from Bonaire to Aruba via Curacao on Sunday morning, Oct 14th. The check-in personnel were very late in opening and a long line developed. When we finally arrived at the counter we were told that our 8:00 flight had been cancelled and we were reassigned to the 10:00 am departure. From that point on all proceeded as scheduled without any delays. My guess - the 8Am was cancelled due to underbooking.
