According to my travel agent:

Non-stop service between Atlanta and Bonaire effective February 9. The service will operate on Saturdays with a 737-800 aircraft. The 737-800 has 16 first class and 134 coach class seats. The approximate schedule would be as follows:

ATL BON 9:45 14:57 DL 738
BON ATL 15:50 19:08 DL 738

Oh, and it's on DELTA Airlines.

More info to follow as I receive it.

Sadly, www.delta.com knows nothing about any flights from ATL-BON starting then :-(

This is sad, but it fits in with the usual non-business approach that airlines to BON seem to have.

I had my agent confirm this info today. Right now, ATL-BON-ATL is $688 plus junk fees for flights in July 2008.

The Delta agent I called gave me the same info.

Looks like its a done deal. Great news!!

It hasn't been on the website and don't expect it will until they go "live". Got same info a few weeks ago from our travel agent. It's a plus for us east coasters who want another option to get to BON.

I just checked for some random dates in March, (Saturday to Saturday) and it does show up but when you go to select the return flight it comes back with "System Unavailable". It looks like they haven't quite gotten it completely there, but it IS showing up, which is a start.

OH MY GAWD, that would be fabulous. the AA thing combined with the darkthirty flight time is killing me. Even for Left Coasters, this would be great, by comparison!

Went on the Delta web site to check flights and times - here's what came back - times are great - 10 AM - 2:15 PM going. 3:15 PM - 7:55PM return. But, save your shekels - $1600 RT for front of the plane.

I too looked and found fares as high as $1200. for coach seats in July. Lowest I noticed was $742.

Just looked up for March 08. RT fare is $434.20 + taxes. Almost makes me want to cancel my AJ Christmas reservations or maybe just go again. Surprisingly, blocks of seats were already taken. Probably by the travel agents.

Bob - I wouldn't cancel my Christmas trip, I'd simply go again.

I've been doing some checking and the latest you could leave, on Delta, from Las Vegas would be O dark 30 [12:30 am] to make the connection without a lot of stress?

I also just checked the Delta website for June and July tickets. It is a go at $742 from Philadelphia. It was more expensive to fly from Atlanta without the Philadelphia connection. I'm confused.
