Dateline Sunday July 22, 2007

7th Trip started in typical AJ fashion...late leaving Baltimore. They held our connection to Curacao but we still missed the DAE connection to Bonaire. DAE's solution to the problem is for the 9 of us to wait standby on already overbooked flights or they could get us to Bon on Tuesday evening at 10:30pm. They would not budge or make any other accomadations. So after checking with Insulair(sp)...sorry we can't help you; we checked with DIVI DIVI and they they could not do enough to get us there! Talk about a service oriented company! The gentleman behind the counter not only found us a pilot but checked our luggage and loaded the plane to get us there...I am sorry I did not get his name.

My hats off to this company if all airlines were run like this one air service eveywhere would be a great experience.

I plan on using this company every chance I get when going to Bonaire.

Dateline Friday JULY 27, 2007

We ended up using DIVI DIVI on our return flight because DAE cancelled our return flight even after checking and confirming our booking with them on Tuesday and Thursday.

In my opinion SNAFU = DAE

No surprise from me. DAE is generally reliable but less than zero on customer service. Divi Divi has phenomenal customer service but could use more planes and flights.

If Divi grows to much - DAE is done .....
That would be kind of sad, since they do fly to destinations where Divi does not go !! (yet??)

Hi, After reading some of the posts on flying from Aruba to Curacao, I need advice. We fly into Aruba and will try to leave for Curacao as soon as possible. We will spend a week there, and then a week on Bonaire. From what I read I should, use Divi Divi to fly from Curacao to Bonaire.

What do I use to fly to Curacao? What about getting back to Aruba. I can't get to Tiara's schedule. Do I try to fly direct from Bonaire to Aruba? I don't even know if that is possible. Help, please. SRT

You could try Inselair to Curacao from Aruba. They are also initiating non-stop flights to Bonaire. See earlier post for details.

Oops, sorry. It is Tiara air. Look at the post "What in the he77 were they thinking". They have a link to the Bonaire Insider story that has some details, including flight times, I think.
