I've been trying to book my flight from AUA to BON with DAE. Not very impressed so far. There website says they hope to launch their online booking by the end of 2006:-( I emailed my request and about a week later I got a response telling me to email again with my CC number and expiry date. I think I'll pass on sending my CC info via unsecured email. I sat on hold three different times and was dropped after five minutes or so. I guess I'll fax my info in but it doesn't make me feel very confident in their abilities and reliability. Well, I'm sure they have first rate aviation mechanics, yeah that's the ticket.

I'm waiting for DAE to update their schedule also. I've emailed them saying I'd like to book for February 2008. They have promised to contact both me and my travel agent as soon as the new schedules are posted. Apparently the new schedule should be up in September/October.

I've called DAE and been placed on hold also. I hung up after 10 minutes--the bill has not come yet and I'm wondering how much that cost me.

I'm checking their website each day to see if the new schedule is posted and I will continue to do so.

My sympathies, but all we can do is to be patient. Hope that helps

Back in June I had sent an email to DAE asking about a Sunday Oct 14th morning flight from BON to AUA. They replied in a reasonable time with a flight schedule and rates and asked for me to send CC# etc to finalize. Also said that it would have to be paid by Sept 14th.
i too was quite concerned about unsecure email. but last week drew a deep breath and passed along required info. In two days I received a confirmation receipt good for boarding. Needless to say I will be closely monitoring my credit card account.

I was under the impression that we would have to fly from Bonaire to Coracau to Aruba But their confirmation seemed to imply a direct flight from Bonaire to Aruba.
Is this a new offering?

One way to email your cc info is to do it in two or three emails.... email the number in one, the address in another and the security #'s from the back in a third.
I've had a few customers do that.
Just a thought.

I also felt leary about sending cc number , but I divided the numbers like: 12 34567 89 012 3 456 or other way that doesn;t look like this : 1234 5678 9012 3456.

Anyway, it has been a month, and no untoward charges have popped up on my card.

Good luck.

Thanks for the responses. I had called them three times and never successfully connected with a person. I went ahead and faxed my reservation and CC info to them and followed up with a slightly negative email. I got a nice email response from Maybeline apologizing for my troubles. She requested my phone number which I provided and she called me two days later. She was very nice and got my reservation completed over the phone. She never did receive my fax though.
