Just back ! Great trip ! Tried something new. Wed. July 4th to Thursday July 12. US Air to San Juan then on to American Eagle. Us Air was able to check our bags all the way to Bonaire. No Problems. American Eagle checked bags all the way back to Detroit. Pick them up at customs in San Juan. Turn left and drop them back off at the US Air station. Worked nice.
Now the bad news, American Eagle lifted late on the 4th, Captain was late in and GPS not working, stuck in the ATR for an hour on the runway. Talked to a couple on Friday, whose luggage didn't arrive with them on thursday night. No problems going home, but left plenty of time for transfers for the just in case.
