Okay,

We leave on Air Jamaica in about 14 hours. That's the good news/parts.

What worries me is the conversation I just had with the Divi Divi folks. I called to confirm our reservation and while I was at it, I asked about baggage limitations.

The person on the phone said we were allowed one bag each. We are bringing our dive gear and are staying for 10 days - no way one bag each is going to work!!

I searched the archives and it looks as though folks have had no problem getting all their bags to Bonaire on Divi Divi. I was hoping someone who has flown them recently could chime in and put my fears/concerns at ease.

Right now our plan is to just take with us what we were going to take anyway and see what happens......

Now we just get this payrol run and we can concentrate on finishing our packing.

Tina, I've flown on Divi Divi twice and had 2 bags to check and 2 carryons (regulator bag and camera bag) and never had a problem. If they don't have room on your flight, they'll put your bags on the next flight (90 minutes later unless you are the last flight at 5:30) - at least that's how it was last year. I hope nothing's changed with that. Try not to worry - they're a very smooth operation!
