Anyone from the UK have any experience with them?

What was the service like?

Value?

Pleased over all?

Hi Dean,

We tried them a couple of years ago, they are OK. The big problem was ticketing they have a good deal with KLM (NL) but can't seem to get the same deal with KLM (UK). We ended up with two tickets, one to AMS and the other AMS-BON. We convinced KLM UK, at the airport, to ticket us all the way through to BON other wise we would have had to collect our bags at AMS and check in again. We had to do the same on our return from BON.

Cost wise if you are lucky with deals on the KLM website you should be able to save a few bob by arranging flights and accommodation on the internet yourself. You won't have quite the same protection if things go wrong unless you can get something back from your credit card company or take out insurance.

Hope that helps and all goes well.

Regards
Dave

Hi there,

Douglas at Bonaire Fun Travel was great when we booked our trip with him in Sept 2005. He was very knowledgeable and friendly and nothing was too much trouble. We got a good deal on flights, accomodation, truck hire and diving and I would use them again.

Cheers
Sharon

Hi
I know self promotion is not allowed but it is important to clarify a couple of points
1- you do NOT need to collect your bags at Amsterdam - if the whole journey is booked with KLM. But - like every flight that includes a transfer - you need to make sure the check-in staff know that you have an onward journey to ensure your bags are checked all the way to Bonaire. We know of a few "discussions" at check-in but no KLM passengers that have had to collect bags at Amsterdam.

2- you will not get a better deal booking direct on the internet, not for the resorts we offer. When comparing you should remember taxes are in addition to the room rates quoted on most websites, exchange rates on credit cards are very poor, and the back up and support we offer comes at no extra charge.

As Bonaire is our main business it is important for us to keep the record straight.

Thanks
Douglas Durrant
