JetBlue Airways is adding an additional flight from JFK to Aruba beginning in December, I believe. Thus, Jet Blue will have 8 weekly flights to Aruba, 2 on Saturday and 1 every other day. This may help Bonaire passangers from the Northeast.

Getting from the Northeast to Aruba has been easy for at least 25 years with various airlines. The problem remains the time consuming hassle of getting from Aruba to Bonaire, having to stop in Curacao, and not arriving on Bonaire until nighttime. One daily late afternoon flight not-stop Aruba to Bonaire would solve that problem for most Bonaire bound travelers from most parts of the U.S. Divi, DAE, are you listening?

I will never risk taking a flight to Aruba..what if you are late and miss the connection? This has happened to countless clients who have been stuck in Aruba for DAYS...waiting to get to BON on DAE.

Ann, that's the same fear I have about going that route too. I know lots of folks do it, but I haven't attempted it yet. Come to think of it, I have never even been to Aruba. Used to have to fly into Curacao when ALM was operating and that was a nightmare! Remember those days? Uggh.
