I was on AJ leaving on Sat afternoon, and from what I was told from one of the staff in the airport, the Continental passengers were there almost all day with nothing but coffee and toast (while the sun shone outside and other planes came and left). Last I saw they were trying to find rooms for the passengers, putting them up wherever there was a spare room, often in rooms with complete strangers. I hope everything worked out for you in the end. The Continental passengers, AJ passengers, and a full KLM plane full of people were all in the departure lounge that afternoon and let me tell you, it was a wee bit crowded...
