Does anyone know when the new Curacao airport terminal is scheduled to open? It looks really beautiful!

It was supposed to open 1st of June.... last info was somewhere in July ....

It went to July the 31st ...
Right now, with the introduction of higher tax, (25$ for Intl. Flights) there is a big issue between CAP and a Union formed by some of the Airlnes using Curacao Intl Airport.

Some of them even threaten to quit using Curacao for the operations.

Well lets hope the best for this new Airport.(It looks nice, alot better then the older Building)

The new 25$ seems to not be enough for CAP to run the new Curacao Inlt Airport building in a profitable way.

So these CAP folks are trying to charge the airlines making use of their facility with a additional charge.
