Hi, We love to snorkel and I do scuba diving. We like to check out some museums, and city centers BUT not shopping.
Is there anything especially interesting to do or see in Puerto Rico and is it an expensive place for an American to visit?

I was just there for a 8 hour layover on May 11th. After Bonaire, all I wanted was a nap to recoup from all the diving and relaxing! There is Best Western in the airport and for $99, they will give you a room with a comfy bed, flat panel TV, internet access, a shower and your own bathroom until 5pm. I took a long nap, a shower and rested for the remainder of my trip home to Baltimore...

And yes, PBD has set in BIG TIME.

Is it wrong to check the Bonaire Web Cams like 30-40 times a day?

Lauren

This Best Western thing sounds like a good solution to the long layover problem we have returning in October.

Tell me more about where it is and how to get there. Do they have a pool? Do you need reservations?

Wow, I need to add the hotel to our San Juan Airport Tips! I have never even heard of this hotel and this is the first mention I've heard of it. I'm going to check it out on my next trip for sure!

On expedia, it says they have a hot tub with 2 whirlpools Hotel ameneties but I read a few of the reports on tripadvisor and a couple mention that they wish there had been a pool and that there were no restaurants on site, you had to go into the airport to get food, etc.
