For anyone who has flown Divi Divi, I have a quick question.

I have been in email contact with them (Germaine and one other, forget the name right now) and got my flights confirmed and was requested to give a credit card to confirm the reservation... no problem, I expected that.

I called them, confirmed the flights and asked if they wanted my credit card number and the person I spoke with said "nope, you can pay when you get here". I didn't understand everything 100% due to heavy accent... but I did understand that sentence. Is this normal? I emailed Germaine again about it but have received no response. Has anyone else just paid for the ticket the day of arrival in Curacao?

Yes, this is standard procedure for Divi Divi, got me a little off-guard, too. They take your CC#, but don't charge it. You pay for your tickets at the counter in Curacao.

The thing that threw me was they wouldn't even take my CC#. Thanks jenny, now I feel a lot better!

I've flown with Divi Divi several times now and have confirmed reservations by email and never have been asked for a credit card. Upon arrival at the desk we pay for the flights. We've had excellent customer service with them.

21 days and a wake up!!

I know that thought...had the same thought the first time we flew with them. It shouldn't be a worry - they've always had us scheduled and no problems. When are you going. I'll be going again on June 3rd -- AA from Greensboro, NC to CUR and Divi Divi from CUR to BON. I can't wait!

I'm going June 2nd!! My route is O'hare-Miami-Cur then Cur-Bon on Divi Divi. I'm staying till the 12th. Where are you staying? I'm at the Golden Reef Inn. Don't forget to go to Gibi's on the 6th!!

My husband and I have been to Bonaire usually twice a year for about 8 years now.We've always stayed at the Coco Palm Gardens. We call it our second home. It is near Bachelors Beach.

My husband is a PADI Instructor and we take small groups with us to Bonaire (usually these are first timers to Bonaire). We really enjoy it.


I always hear people speaking about Gibi's but we have never gone there. Maybe we can do that this trip. Where is Gibi's location?
