What is the best time of day/wk. to get/check for availability of tickets on the web?
Air jamacia is my preference and many honeymooners too this time of year, which I didn't realize.
Problem seems to be that the planes are all booked to Jamacia ,their hub.Hope they open up more seats. I keep checking.
Kim from Caradonna is helping me out.She helped me get ours.
Keeping my fingers crossed for my sister to join us in July.

After midnight is a great time. Most ticket holds expire at midnight, the question is whose midnight, EST, CST, or PST. They are all different. If it is PST and you are an east coaster, get up at o'dark thirty and give your dates a try then

So the earlier in the AM the better, at least for me.
I'll give it a try, Thanks.

I just booked my Feb07 trip and looked after midnight the day the return ticket should have been available and no luck. Got to the office at 8am and there is was.

PS - booked non-stop EWR-CUR and then heard at Beneath the Sea today that they are getting close to announcing a non-stop EWR-BON flight. The Continental reps said it would probably depart later than the 8:30am Curacao flight to allow time for connecting flights from other East Coast cities...Guess I will be the first to call and suck up the change fee in order to get a non-stop.

One can only hope CON is seriously considering this one!! EWR is our base and this would be great. I would imagine the airfare will be higher than AJ but it will be worth the difference, for sure.

Seb coming onto our side of the stream???!!!! Wow! That will be an event to witness....see you at EWR, Seb and Mare! Carole and Joe

From my conversation with the CON reps yesterday, it sounds like discussions are very advanced and it's at the governmental approval stage. She was hopeful the Saturday-only flights would begin in December.

I think those of us in NJ should just remind everyone that EWR has some of the worst flight delays in the country, so they should just stay away!!!

PS - I'm more than annoyed that my EWR-CUR ticket prices dropped $75/ticket after I booked them. Saw it last night, but you need to be w/i 24 hours of ticketing to get lower fare...

Karen - seriously, all of you New Yorkers just need to keep using LGA & JFK. The horrible bridge & tunnel traffic to get to Newark and the endless ground delays once you board your plan - I just don't think it's worth it for you !!

I do sometimes make it to Jersey Carole, but gee whiz, aren't you in the part that abuts Minnesota?

Seb, I wish I were that far out in NJ! LOL. Nope, we are in the heart of Morris County...we are basically "citified" where we are. Not much "country" around us, except for some parks and very large McMansions, but we will never be in one of those! LOL. Carole

PS I guess "far" is a relative term....I might be "far" into NJ for a City fella! LOL. cb

Well lets keep our fingers crossed on this one..
Obviously, we'd love it. Would sure beat sitting in Aruba (or worse yet Jamaica) for hours on end.

Thanks to Kim @ Caradonna tours for finding tickets for my sister and her husband when I couldn't.
It seems that on Tues that tickets come available sometimes.
Now I can finally share my paradise with her!
