I need to get back to Bonaire for my 3rd dive trip before too long myself, and have learned to play the AA.com website to find low fares from Boston area.

The key point is to have flexibility on when you can fly. If you're locked into a particular week, Sat-Sat, then you're out of luck.

Get to the flexible-dates feature on the AA site by mousing over Reservations, then Book Flights, then click on Dates Flexible.

You can search spanning a month at a time. For example, I put in for an 8-day trip between 5/15 and 6/15 and it returns a lowest fare of $479 + tax ($541 total) RT for me, available on only 4 days in that span.
