Just booked airfare on AA/AE for 12/06-1-07. Up to 950/pp + taxes, over 1K roundtrip from EWR! Used double miles for one ticket, thankfully. Quite a hike in price from last year.

David, my friend just booked for April from Fort Lauderdale....price was 692. We are going Air Jamaica and it was over 1000 per person....most expensive flight we have ever taken...not sure if it is this time of year (spring break) or wallet break!

I'm not sure why people do not use the Aruba route. A flight on that same day is $500 for Newark to Aruba + $200 for Bonaire Excel. It really is the easiest/fastest/cheapest way to Bonaire, right now.

Cecil, Shhhhhhhh, if more people use that route it might end up costing us more;-{)}

Cecil,

Lowest price EWR to AUA on our dates was $706 plus tax, which is pretty close to the same when you add the AUA-BON flight, and means an extra stop and a 6AM rather than 9am departure.

Traveling 12/24 could have something to do with it...

Cecil,

Flights were actually cheaper EWR>BOS>SJU>BON>.

Go figure.

See told you, and the diving is better here, too. Colder but better.

So the right answer is to cancel your vacation move to New England then reshedule.

Tom, slap me please, I'm giving away all the secrets.

After next year my daughter will be through with high school and we can travel sometime other than the school vacation week when airfare seems to double. Until then, I have to grin and bear the cost or stay home.

I'm searching for a good airfare from CLT to CUR for June 3 - June 10. I'm finding rates extremely high also.....been coming for the past few years in June and airfares are not looking favorable.

Anyone know of any reasonable fares?
