I have heard from an airline source website that KLM will be flying AMS-LIM-AMS non-stop beginning this summer. Thus, the stop over in Bonaire will be cancelled, and the Ecuador flights that usually stop in Bonaire will be moved to Aruba or Curacao. Bonaire may be left with only a once-weekly service to Amsterdam. KLM's purchase of new Boeing 777-200 aircraft can make the AMS-LIM route without refueling, unlike the current MD-11 aircraft. If anyone connected with KLM has any further information, please let us on Bonaire Talk know.
