Recently I posted a trip report and related my problem with delayed and torn luggage in Bonaire. The AE staff in Bonaire did nothing to assist and I had to duct tape up my bag to get it home. Today I went to Greenville Spartanburg Airport and met with an AE Supervisor. In less than 10 minutes she took the damaged bag and said it would either be repaired or replaced within 5-7 days. Then she issued me a check for all my lost items and related expenses. I couldn't be more pleased with her service and assistance. On a related note she said the employes at Bonaire Airport are contract employes and are employes of the airport. This was not an excuse for their behavior just an explanation of facts.

It's great to hear something good about American. We've flown with them 6 times to Bonaire without a hitch, but was starting to lose some faith based on some recent posts here on Bonaire Talk. This helps morale among our group. Thanks for the post George.
