Royal Aruban Airlines did not answer phones today or return email the past few days.

Am I having bad luck or is this outfit
even in business?

Any info would be great.

I got free tickets to Aruba on United and
Royal Aruban's schedule matches nicely.

Thanks

Joe,

I saw a note somewhere here that their phone numbers had changed to the following last week:

Phone: [297] 883300
Fax: [297] 829522

Dial 011 in front from the U.S.

Jake

I finally got hold of reservations at Royal Aruban today, April 2.

They will not take reservations yet but plan to start operations in the next 2 to 3 weeks.

Thanks for all the comments and info.

Joe:
If you go on Royal, let us know how successful the first flight maintenance was!

After reading the article in
http://www.caribbeanavenue.com/airnews/2002/03/020328raadelay.html I may wait a year before I get on a Royal Aruban flight.

I booked Avia from Aruba-Bonaire-Aruba. Avia only has evening flights from Bonaire to Aruba, so I had to book a Saturday evening flight in order to catch the 9:30AM United flight from Aruba to Chicago.

I live near San Francisco and this is my 9th trip to Bonaire. I'll give a report on connections when I return.

If Royal runs their first training flight to Bonaire when I'm there. I'll be at the runway with my camera ready.................
