Hi everyone...I keep check ORBITZ.com every day for airfare from NC to BON. Is it usual that it fluctuates DAILY, sometimes by $1,000! I guess I should have snagged that $600 flight when it was offered! Do most of you work with travel agents? Thanks!

I don't use a travel agent. I have always booked on line. Yep, you should have booked that flight earlier for sure. The flights will fluctuates as some seats get released/taken by folks who are trying to get a good deal as well. But, keep checking, you may get a seat that is not too costly, just keep in mind when traveling on holidays, high season, not to wait till last minute and expect good airfare prices Bonaire, maybe some places in states, but it won't happen to Bon due to only so many planes fly there, so.. live and learn here. Lots of folks use travel agents I know, so maybe you can get a better price with one. I am sure somebody will chime in her with who they have used with good results. BTW, my flights to Bonaire in February have been booked over 6 months ago. Have you tried priceline.com ? I have found good luck with them, check them out for pricing. Good Luck.

Yesterday, US Air had last min fares from RDU to AUA for $389. You had to travel Nov 28 - Dec 21. No Sun or Mon flights. I don't recall what the fare was from CLT (Charlotte).
You might try Priceline after using http://www.itasoftware.com/
This website does not book flights for you but it will let you know what flights are available and at what cost. I use it before offering a price on Priceline.
