I've heard from a reliable source that KLM will be pulling out of Bonaire, regarding their Latin-American Hub for Peru & Quito and Guayaquil. These flights will be served with the Boeing 777's effective October 2005(Lima) and Quito/ Quayaquil(Dec 2005). No official news about this yet, I don't know if someone over here can confirm this.

This is coming up for the last 2 years again and again .... look yourself at the KLM web site, at least the winterseason 2005/2006 it will not apply as you can still choose between 2 flights a day. Would love to know who is your reliable source ! Joopie A ?????

This was published in the KLM Employee Journal called "Wolkenridder", seems like the first pullout of the MD-11 on the Latin American route will be the Lima flights. The 777's can serve this route non-stop.

You could fly from Caracas to Curaçao with Aeropostal airline and then from Curaçao to Bonaire with Bonairexel. But the easier way(I think!)it´s from Valencia to Curaçao with Aeropostal or any other airline. But don´t worry once you are in Caracas there are no complications to get to Bonaire through Curaçao.

There are also 2 other possibilities - direct Caracas-Bonaire, if the time schedule allows for you ...
