Good Morning BTers,
This Airline has some GREAT fares to SJU or MJB.
Below is the email I recieved from Spirit. This would be an alternate flight for some people. I know in the past when booking AJ to Bonaire it was the flight into MBJ was full and not the flight to BON.

Sounds good! I have to say that the JetBlue fares to San Juan are great as well...

if you take Spirit to MBJ, you will have to overnite in MB both directions...the flight from FLL doesn't arrive until after the flights to BON and CUR have departed

Can anybody recommend an overnite hotel in MB?

Gregg, you may want to check this out. The Royal Caribbean is a few minutes from the airport. The price may be a bit steap though. There others around but a bit further from the airport.

Thanks Davidson...I've looked previously for options to overnite in MB...turns out the cost of the hotel far outweighed the savings in the airline fares

Greg, you are right, but check out these fares:

$89 RT from FLL to Montego Bay....may be worth it?

Ok did some figuring.

Spirit Air from Atlantic City to Montego Bay Thurs. $164 RT

2 nights at 3 star all inclusive (hey as long as it has clean sheets, airco and no critters running across the floor, bed etc. at night I'm ok with that: $ $276.00

RT from Montego Bay to Bonaire: $267.00

Total: $707.00

$714.00 Philadelphia to Bonaire.

Just about break even...

Liz

Liz,

the last time I checked for hotels in MB, they had a 2-3 nite minimum

the connections to MB cost a person two extra vacation days for the $700 ticket...most of us can get to Bonaire for 700-900 in one day....I'd prefer to have the extra days in Bonaire...the overnite stay in MB requires us to collect baggage in MB and transport it to/fro the airport... when I go to Bon, I prefer to check my bags at my departure airport and pick them up in Bon

everybody has different standards but I don't think the cheap tickets to MB help me
