Last week while I was in Bonaire I saw lots of large KLM jets come in. Staying at The Plaza you see (and hear) most flights. Knowing they partner with Northwest, I checked out the Northwest and KLM websites, but they do not show you a route to get to Bonaire from within the US (or at least my airport - RDU). I did see that if you fly KLM from Amsterdam, you connect through JFK. SO...I'm wondering, has anyone looked into making a connection at JFK to a KLM flight to get to Bonaire? I flew American last week, and am absolutely disgusted with them.

I checked Northwest a couple of years ago. I wanted to get from Seattle - Bonaire but I would have had to fly from Seattle-Amsterdam-Bonaire. Way too expensive. Our best alternative from here is AA and they can be up and down. Got bumped in SJ last trip.

Northwest has I believe a hub in Memphis, and there were rumors a couple of years ago about Memphis to Bonaire to Amsterdam, as Northwest/KLM are partners, but it never materialized.
