Just finished a 10 day trip to Bonaire. I arrived on 4/13. My wife and daughter arrived on 4/16. We all departed Bonaire on 4/23.

All took AA from Miami to Curacao then Divi Divi to Bonaire.

Not a hint of a problem on any leg. I have flown every which way into Bonaire since 1991. This was very easy.

How were they on baggage? So far, I've heard that they try to accommodate all luggage. What was your experience?

I had two pieces of checked luggage. One regular size suitcase and one smaller size. Also had a backpack as a carry on. Since I got on an earlier flight they told me at check in that my luggage may end up on the 5pm flight. Both bags made it on my flight however.

I think the general rule is one checked bag and one carry on but they understand divers have a little more luggage.

Looks like they have more cargo on the Cur to Bon flights. Several boxes of lobster on my flight and no cargo on the Bon to Cur flight.

I asked to ride up front with the pilot. Interesting for me as I used to fly a similar size plane with my my uncle when I was a teenager.
