Stuart, I've taken both AJ and AA to Bon. You don't say where you are coming from, I live on the west coast. The time I took AJ, we had no problems and it was faster, last time I took AA and it is a longer leg, but I got there. With the recent problems AJ has been having, you may want to go with AA just to make sure you get there...

Can anyone else chime in on taking AJ from LAX to BON? I'm in Sacramento and plan to take a southwest flight to LAX and then AJ the rest of the way. A flight cancellation would be a big problem for me. I'm leaving 2nd week of April

Ed, not that many "left coasters" go to Bon...there are just a handful of us...do you have your tickets with AJ already? If so, I would just keep my fingers crossed that you don't run into any snafu's...

I haven't bought my AJ ticket yet. I searched again for AA flights and see that I can leave from SFO and get there in about 15 hours. Not too bad. This saves me from having to spend the night in LA on the way back.

Boy, are we lucky with a 9 hour direct, non-stop flight from AMS...

Yes, Martini..you are VERY lucky.

We've always had an over-night layover on the way to Bonaire and feel lucky, ourselves, to only have 19 hours on the return. Makes our time in Bonaire all the sweeter!! Thirteen more days....ummmm I mean 14 days until arrival!!! :-)

Oh and I forgot to list ...that's three separate flights and a 3 hour drive to the airport. Martin, you really need to appreciate your direct flight! :-)
