I'm trying to make flight arrangements to Bonaire from Minneapolis in January -- and have found a charter flight to Aruba (Ryan International through TransGlobal Vacations) for $299 RT. It's Sunday to Sunday; flight gets us to Aruba at approx. 5:00 p.m., and I thought we could make the 8:00 p.m. BE flight to Bonaire. Return flight out of Aruba leaves at 4:00 p.m., so that connection from Bonaire shouldn't be a problem. Is anyone familiar with Ryan (I'm not), and does anyone see any particular problems with this itinerary, other than general BE issues that I've been reading about on this board? And what's the best way to make BE reservations? The total price of this fare is about half of what it would cost on a scheduled airline.

The only problem is the lack of customer relationship at the BE counter on Aruba (at least that is what we experienced).

BE Counter in Aruba very helpful to us on the island face to face....never could get them on the phone...this was when AA dumped us in PR about 8 hours late on Christmas Day 2003, and I was getting to BON some way or another. Bounced down to Aruba on a whim and badda-bing I'm in BON.
