Looks like BonairExel, thanks to the demise of DCA, has expanded its Bonaire/Curacao schedule.

Of importance to travlers to/from Bonaire, the new schedule now means it's possible to get to Bonaire via Curacao daily on the American Eagle flight from San Juan to Curacao (similar flight only flies three times weekly to Bonaire), since there are at least 2 flights available well after the anticipated arrival time of that flight in Curacao.

A few times a week there is also a morning large plane (American Airlines) departing Curacao to Miami at 8:20am. The 7am BonairExel flight would connect to that (tight, but if it's on time, it should work).

Doesn't look like the Bonaire/Aruba connections have changed much.

New also is the Bonaire/St.Maarten routing, which may also allow for connections in St. Maarten (not sure at what price however).

See PDF attached to this message for the detailed schedule, which starts October 31st (not sure when it ends).

Thank you for the update, Jake. I am still holding out for the direct flight from Columbus to Bonaire. LOL

A question. Once upon a time, long, long ago there was a book I used at work to schedule business travel; it had an acronym something like 'AOA' or "OOA". The beautiful thing was that it listed city pairs with all airlines and all week in one 'paragraph'. Last time I remembered the acro I found it online but for $s to use.

Does anyone remember what I am talking about and, better yet, know of a similar presentation online for free use???

The book was the OAG, came in big books and pocket editions.

They still exist, now on the web at www.oag.com

Jake, thank you for the info. I now have a reservation on BonairExel for January 8th. I was concerned after DCA's demise.

Jake,

that is great news...now if BE would only "fix" their mid afternoon departure time from Aruba to Bon so that visitors don't have the 5 hr layover

TKS, Dan, OAG it was. Best format I have used.

Now, the $64 ?: current free similar??? OAG is a bit expensive for the casual user. :–)
