Hello All,

I've just discovered this (brilliant) site, and hoping you good people can help me.

Organising a honeymoon for October this year, from the UK. Currently thinking about a week in Peru (on the Inca Trail/Macchu Picchu) and then a week in Bonaire. The transatlantic bit is easy (KLM) but does anyone know how to get from Cuzco (Peru) to Bonaire, without having to connect in Lima and Aruba and taking 28 hours !

Help gratefully appreciated.

Stewart

KLM is adding flights in June 2002. Everyday Amsterdam to Bonaire continuing on to Quido, Ecuador. You might see if a connection through Quido would be better.

Stewart, I know it's a long way off, but I'd love to see some pics of the Lost City of the Incas!.

By the way, dial-a-flight has a good deal for flights with KLM to Bonaire.. S:)

Stewart, I booked my flights with Opodo [opodo.co.uk], using KLM via Amsterdam, and not only were they the cheapest, and I could book on-line, by email, or by phone, but they didn't charge to pay by credit card or debit card. And the service was exceptional.

I'd also love to see pics of the Lost City of the Incas. In a former life I taught Spanish [to adults] and always wanted to visit there.

What a wonderful honeymoon you are planning.

Opodo might also be of interest to you too Sarah. :-) Haven't worked out how to do the emoticons yet, but will do.

If you find a flight from Cuzco to Caracas... only once a week there is a new connection from Caracas to Bonaire http://www.losroques-sol.com/bonaire.htm

OK, so I've checked out Apodo and their quote for economy class KLM return was £1600 for 2 adults (not including tax). Dial-a-flight came out at £1040 (not including tax)... S:)

Our economy class KLM tickets, return, were £1022.20 [including tax]for 2 adults. So you can see why I was singing their praises. Was your quote for December? If so, it might be higher cos of the time of year.

actually i've tried opodo for flights, and the klm website direct is coming in _miles_ (like £300 each) cheaper.
Still having problems getting from Cuzco (although now might be La Paz, Bolivia, to give us a chance to cruise Lake Titicaca first) to Bonaire :(
anyone ?

If we have to go via Caracas, I think that we might be tempted to go to Los Roques instead (always wanted to fly in a DC-3 !:)

Stewart, good luck!

Jenni, no, the quote I obtained was for Summer 2002.. the cost of our tickets turned out to be approx £250pp cheaper than Apodo.. saying that, I'm glad you managed to get a good deal. Sarah:)
