Our family will be coming to Bonaire in July. Our grandson will be 20 months old by that time. His parents have a passport for him. My question: Is there a minimum age for the Departure Tax? Or, does every person pay it regardless of age?

I'd appreciate any help on this subject. I've searched the Internet but have been unable to get a conclusive answer beyond the amount of the tax.

My son turned 2 right before we left Bonaire in April, he was not charged the departure tax at the airport. I bought his stub by mistake, was told to return it by AJ desk and the gal at the tax counter gave me my $20 no problem.
