I'm trying to persuade a friend to join us in BON in Feb, so I was checking American's website. Seeing great prices (at least from Rochester, which is normally the armpit of the world for fares): 2/10- 2/21 $437.70 pp (incl taxes). same cost, or close, several other dates that I checked.

I checked the dates we're flying, and the fares have GONE DOWN: We paid $462 (which I thought was a bargain), it's now $422 pp. (2/5 - 2/21 and 2/5 - 3/6, both via ORD).

Could only find these on AA.com. Expedia shows the lowest as $480, and doesn't give me a routing that has American the whole way.

Actually, I'm getting nervous about the possibility of more cancellations if the flights are so underbooked that they are reducing the fares. Keeping my fingers crossed.

So, you who are undecided, get online or call your agent, and BOOK now!!! Bonaire needs you, and the airlines need you to fill the flights so they keep flying for me!!

I'm not sure if I would worry just because the rates are low. Tried booking my daughter on AJ and leave Sat 2/2 with us-- they quoted me $897-- asked what happened with the special rates and they told me there were no more seats avail for that price-- She has to fly on Sun instead. I might give them a call tomorrow to see if any avail opened up for the Sat flight.
I would be more than happy to dive with you-- but haven't dove for over 10 years-- way out of practice. I'm sure you will hook up wiht other 1st and 2nd timers. Where are you staying
