We want to return to Bonaire on 1/8/00, but are concerned about airport and ALM Y2K compliance. We can't get stranded on the island, unable to get home after vacation.
Any info?

What an awful dilemma...how would anyone want to be stranded on Bonaire!?!?!?!?! I know I ALWAYS want to get right home.

Seriously, though, you might want to check with the FAA to see if they have a list of airlines deemed "compliant"....they may, just as the Banking Commissions are keeping track of the bank compliance issues.

Being Y2K stranded on Bonaire would be like being snowed in at the mountains at Christmas, only way better!

My wife and I are spending time in Bonaire over the New Year. We don't think we'll get stranded but what better place to be.

there are 8 of us going in that time frame..please wear a sign "I don't want to stay here any longer than I have to" that way no one
will think it was us worried about beign STUCK in bonaire. Actually most of us can only Hope to be stuck.
