We'll be visiting Bonaire again in November...flying from Amsterdam to Curacao by KLM and from Cur to Bon by Bonaire Exel.
Does any of you have experience with flying Bonaire Exel from Curacao to Bonaire v.v.?

Diana,

My friend arrived from the U.S. via Cur and took BE to Bonaire...no problem. I also have Dutch friends who did the same as you. They arrived last week from Amsterdam and are still on the island. They also took BE from Cur...again, no problem....there are numerous options for Cur to Bonaire...I'd take the first plane that was ready to go (Divi Divi or BE). I'm not sure I would trust DCE even if they were boarding

Thank you Gregg.
I've spoken with my father yesterday (my parents live on Bonaire) and he heard somewhere that since BE started, 96% of their flights between CUR and BON flew on time!
That sounds promising.

Be careful, the 96% flight reliability of BE must be a fake. If you really take a look at all those delays Bonairexel is producing everyday, Divi Divi Air seems to be the much better idea. They have a website at www.flydivi.com

"Must be a fake"????

Are you by any chance an employee of Divi Air?

Well, our flights have already been booked now, so for us it's just wait and see!
Hopefully not too many problems as we are only on Bonaire for a week...

I've been waiting for a week for BE to respond to emails requesting reservation information. Same problem I ran into in August. I guess they still haven't figured out that in order to sell seats, they have to have a way for folks to book tickets. Travelocity doesn't show them. Expedia wants to send you to SJ (from Aruba) to get to Bonaire. The BE web site is STILL under construction.

Somebody at BE please wake up

Just returned from Bonaire Saturday night. Flew AJ from BWI, but enjoyed seeing the very regular landings of the BonairExcel ATRs, as I will need to use them the next trip. Checked with their Flamingo Airport office for flight times to/from Aruba and other info. No web site yet, but their phone number on Bonaire is 717-0707. Don't forget the country code (599).

Aruba-to-Bonaire flight times: 09:00 - 09:45; 16:30 - 17:15; 20:45 - 21:30.

Bonaire-to-Aruba flight times: 07:45 - 08:30; 13:15 - 14:00; 19:15 - 20:00

Weight limit is 20 kg (44 lbs), with a 10 NAF surcharge for about 10 additional kg.
