Hello again,
I was checking the info pages about the charitable organisations on Bonaire and wondered if stuff is still needed?
I usually leave behind all of my travel clothes at the end of a trip and like to try to fill any suitcase gaps on the way over with any locally needed items.
Could someone let me know if there would be anywhere that would need anything, and or want used clothing? Is there anything that might be cheap in the states but expensive there?-
Thanks

Jackie, you and I are on the same page! I was going to post as well to see if school supplies were needed, paper, pens, stuff like that. I remember someone posting a while back about a place in Rincon to drop clothing and such at. I hadn't thought about stuffing a few extra shirts into my bag as padding and then donating them....

The Animal Shelter also could use donations, such as toys for the animals. The web site Bonaire Animal Shelter has a list of things they could use.

Thanks Bea for the post, I haven't found anyone else who needs anything so i guess the animals have it. I volunteer for my local animal shelter, so it will be nice for me to help some Bonaire animals too.

Thanks.

Jaxdiver -

Well, neat. Then you'll stop in and say Hi. That is nice too.

We've spent some time at the Animal Shelter our last couple of trips. Since I'm maintaining that web site, we take pictures, talk to Jurrie and talk to the kitties.

So, if Jurrie is there - say Hi from the Joneses.

Bea
