Is anyone in possession of some more details with regard to Dutch Eagle Express N.V., the company currently starting up BonairExel? What other activities do they engage in besides starting up an airline?
Does BonairExel already have a sales office or an Internet-page?

Natascha, if you find out, be sure to let us know . I think your best bet is contacting Air Exel in Holland, they are the dutch partners in this.

The latest news, by the way, is that final approval testing of the planes and outfit is underway which should lead to the issuing of the last permits needed. They plan to wrap this up by next Wednesday, to commence flying on the 8th (which, by no coincidence, is one day prior to the elections here)

This week's Bonaire Reporter wrote that the last permits were promised for May 7, allowing a May 8 start. Someone of you lucky people there in Paradise please keep us up to date..

Did BonaireExel make their virgin flight on May 8th as rumored? I would hope that the pending election would help get the bureaucracy moving...

One of my colleagues said that the first flight would be today, May 9... Election day. I don't know if it's true and I haven't heard anything about it in the media yet. And I can't see the airport either from where I am right now. Will keep you posted!
