If you are interested in meeting other gay people, there are almost always some gay KLM stewards about at Plaza Resort beach and Divi Flamingo. This may sound like stereotyping, but it's true, can't change that

John & Tim's Ocean View Villas have received high accolades from Out & About magazine. Check out www.oceanviewvillas.com. Other than that, I've never seen a reaction one way or another-yet another benefit of a 'relax, live & let live' society.

There's a large gay/lesbian contingent that seems to show up on the island every year around the end of October, from what I understand. On our last trip down to the island, a bunch of the folks were on the AE flight from San Juan with us. Definitely more entertaining than most travelers -- a fun bunch of people! Made that long flight a lot more enjoyable...
