Hi,
I think there are a few people on this board that have a timeshare on Bonaire. I was curious as to some of the details on this. Are you happy with the purchase? Where is the timeshare? Can you still purchase units?

Any information would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Darryl

Hi, Daryl! Joe and I bought our timeshare at the Divi Flamingo Beach Resort and love it. We have one at the Divi Village in Aruba, too, but we now transfer the time over to Bonaire so we have two weeks to play on Bonaire. I do believe Divi has units available.

There are a few other places on Bonaire who have timeshares, too, but I will defer to others for the specifics.

Joe and I have never regretted owning our timeshares. We know what we love and we love Bonaire, so we never feel guilty about not trading them in (depositing them with RCI or Interval International) to travel elsewhere in the world. There are soooo many places in the world you can trade off with, but we just can't get enough of Bonaire and continue to return to her over and over and over....good luck! Carole

Hi Carol,
Thanks for the info. Do you think you could provide me with some more info? Specifically:

1) What are the annual maintenance costs?
2) Are the weeks fixed or floating?
3) Any other costs?
4) We own a timeshare already, but its throuhg Interval International. What are the exchange and membership costs?
5) How many bedrooms? Full Kitchen?

You can email me the info if you prefer.

Thanks,

Darryl

If you ever want to head up to Canada, we own a couple of weeks at a 5 star resort. Fantastic golfing, good skiing :-) I think we could work out a trade.
