We want to bring "a little something" for the housekeepers, front desk personnel, etc. Other than Krispy Kremes, since it's a two day trip for us plus we don't have a KK store within 100 miles, what are your suggestions? We'd like to bring something that isn't readily available in Bonaire.

Linda, I always think it is nice to bring along something that might represent your home state (probably not Colorado snow though!) Being from Vermont we have taken small bottles of maple syrup and maple candy (and cheddar cheese for Jake!).

they are boiling sap everyday now..warm days and cold nights are the perfect weather for the sap run Different grades according to the beginning and end of the run..I prefer the darker B or C grade which is the commercial grade...thicker and darker...ummmmm ...pancakes and maple syrup !..and yes any food from your local area makes a nice gift, arn't we lucky here in Vt to have syrup to give ? Right now though I could give away some of this MUD !

Debbie .... good idea to give away the mud! You know, facial mud packs, full body mud packs .... maybe we can start a business!

Thanks for the response. Glenwood Springs, Colorado is known for the World's Largest Hot Springs Pool and Aspen is known for the skiing/snow...neither fit as "hospitality gifts". I'll think of something! :-)

Linda -

We just purchased some coasters since we will be traveling and will be staying at some friends' houses.

We found lots of items with a columbine theme and so chose that. It isn't Gunnison (what is? - cold winter temps<g>!!), but we thought a Colorado theme was a good second choice.

Just a thought - B.
