I have read on BT that there is someone on Bon that will trade a Bon License plate for one from your country, Is this person still there, and does he/she still do this?

That would be Bas Tol, who lives down the street from us. He has most traditional U.S. license plates so you'd probably need something pretty unique to tease him with. Drop him e-mail at loonybin@bonairelive.com

rob, i have one hanging on my office wall, i bought it at the airport...that is when they were still available...it says "divers paradise" on it...

Take a look at eBay - lots of Bonaire license plates for sale. Current ones are yellow with black lettering, incidentally. Seach for "bonaire license plate" at http://www.ebay.com

Also, red plate (which was from the late 90s):

No idea, Cynde. I know Bruce Bowker sells them at Carib Inn and Michael has them at Chat N Browse, though.

Yes, they do still sell them at the airport, there is also one or 2 gift shops in town that have them. Picked one up just last week. They are green with white lettering.
