March 1 is also the Adult Karnaval Parade in Rincon, and March 2 is the Adult Karnaval Parade in Playa (afternoon, usually starting around 2-3pm). And Tuesday 2/4 night is the Karnaval Light/Night Parade thru Playa, around 7-9pm.

Ruth, I'm scheduled to pick up someone to go to Rincon on March 1 (then planning to attend the BT BBQ at the Richter's) What time is the adult parade in Rincon, and does this mean that the normal first Saturday of the month Rincon Market Day won't take place -- or will it be expanded, or what??

I believe the Rincon Market Day will also take place on March 1-to make it into an entire day for Rincon. I have not seen exact times for the parades yet, but like I said above, they're usually starting around 2/3pm, ending around 5/6pm. Then people usually hang around the bars (which usually have live music and/or DJ's) in Rincon & keep partying.
