I heard a rumour (not more than that), that Cultimara is about stopping the business. That doesn't make me happy at all. It is supposed to have something to do with other companies on the other Antillean Islands of the same group .
Someone knows more about that?

I hope not. Where else would you shop?

I love Cultimara's bake shop and breads. I prefer Warehouse for Dairy, produce and meats. Progresso has some decent prices and Jake and Linda turned me on to One Stop for berries. It's NO one stop shopping on Bonaire, that's for sure!

:-)

I just mentioned this to Harrie over the wall (he's my neighbor), but as far as I know, Cultimara is doing fine now.

The sister company in Curacao went bankrupt about a month ago, and at the time there were some concerns whether that would take down the related Bonaire companies (Consales & Cultimara), but, knock on wood, that did not happen, and now that issue has been left well behind.

Progresso is in Antriol on the left heading to Rincon. One Stop used to have berries from Ecuador. It is located on the road behind the Catholic church.
Oh oh..do not forget BBQ chicken across from Progresso at night..the rainbow cart sells the BEST! 10,00 for a whole chicken and fries.
