Did anyone on Bonaire get up early enough this morning to see the Leonid shower? It was supposed to be spectacular with a forecast of 3000 to 6000 meteors per hour. I sat outside my house for an hour and a half in the cold in NYC (less than 40 degrees F)and the most I saw at 5:30 AM EST (supposedly the peak time) were a few scattered meteors. If anyone on Bonaire saw this event, please tell me if I missed something. Jake, Linda?

I saw one at 11:45 PM and around 5 AM the sky lit up..one a minute. Nothing compared to last year but still so special. Mags and I camped out on the deck from 4:30-5:45 and watched the show. It makes the day so special seeing such wonders in the sky...

...I wish I could say I could say I lost my virginity under a Leonid sky, but this is not *that kind* of chat room! ;-) Overcast here in Wyoming, but it was a spectacular sunrise! Oh, Annie - I can just picture you and Mags cuddled up under an afgan watching the sky and chatting - now THAT'S priceless!! Building memories you are - she's a lucky kid!
