It just didn't seem right to be running ads on BonaireTalk or the WebCams site today...

May you all be strong today and forever more.

I would like to add my thanks as well. At our school are focusing on hope and community and started the day around the flagpole with a moment of silence and the raising of a new flag. My hope is that all the world can be more like the wonderful community in which I teach and the wonderful, caring community of BTers. Peace to all.

Jake & Linda,

My thanks also. I noticed the banner first thing this morning. Class act all the way.

For teachers - You might want to explore CISV
to let your students know that there are lots of people out there trying to make a difference.

Peace,

Bill

Linda and Jake, I agree with the above postings.

Here in Holland (like all over the world) the main thing you see on TV, hear on the radio and read in the papers is the disbelieve (still) about the attacks and a lot of people are thinking about everyone who lost a loved one last year.

The Richter family will always hold a special place in my heart for the comfort that was given during that time when I was stranded in Bonaire away from my family. Thank you for your hospitality and friendship.

Today was a very mixed day in our area...very moving with ceremonial events and very reflective. Looking back and looking forward. The pain is still all around us in the NY/NJ area. It does not seem possible that it has been one year already...seems like it was yesterday. May peace come to the hearts of all those affected. Carole

We went to a memorial at the firehouse in the city yesterday, then some went to ground zero. Still hard to believe, even after so many funerals. It's comforting to know many people feel the same, May we never forget. Masha danke for your thoughts and prayers.

Jake, Linda and all...the support given on this board toward America is heart felt, makes ya wonder where all the bad guys are...when there seems to be so much morale amoungst people who share different cultures, countries and ideas. And alot of these people have never met formally, A unique group amoung the masses around us. Comforting to know how far our reaches span. "Nothing can Compare to diving and interacting in Bonaire!"
