I whole heartedly agree. You have some of the best underwater pictures I’ve seen. Every time someone comments on my pictures I always tell them “You haven’t seen anything until you see Ellen’s web site!”

Hi Cynde, Isn't that contest for regular contributers to the Rodale's board? I don't know...They could have set it up a little better and included a thumbnail of each of the images instead of having to click on each of the titles :-( When are you coming back to Bonaire?

Josie, Benny was certified last weekend so now I have a new dive buddy! We went for a nice night dive at Habitat on Tuesday. He is going for his advanced ow starting this weekend and hopes eventually to become a divemaster.

ellen, I don't know about the rules, guess i will have to do a little searching! the green seacow pic is framed too, but i haven't gotten a pic of it yet! Michael and I will be coming to bonaire next june (time seems to be going by way too slowly!) we will definetly have to get together for a dive and/or dinner

I'll be back on Bonaire Jan 29 - March 12 (Alan's only coming for three weeks again --- we've got to get him certified too, now), so I'm hoping to dive with Benny too. Love to do a night dive with you also. I REALLY enjoyed Town Pier this year.

We're off to China, Tibet and Bali on Tuesday. A real adventure, just not Bonaire. Just got the BON tickets in the mail today. Who knows what changes will be happening with schedules between now and Jan, though. The airline situation isn't pretty.

Josie, have a great trip, and don't forget us poor people with no lives, when you get back. Trip report, please. I hope your diving when you get to Bali, the South Pacific is not to be missed.

Josie...do you mind sharing your air connections ? hav'nt made ours yet still doing the "homework" very leary this year of making too soon..with all the airlines acting so weird..so what else is new ?they are weird every year..but need to get something concrete...thanks for sharing...I know you are gonna love the China trip..but man Bali too ...you lucky diver dog !

ellen, i was giggling when i suggested that benny give up fishing...tell him that we enjoyed the chocolates he brought us in september (micheal actually consumed most of them before i got the chance!)

ellen, i just entered 2 of my photos in the contest to see if you have to be a member, and you don't. you have to be a member to vote, but all that takes is filling out a form, no cost...that box jelly you captured the other night would be a good one as well...hmmmm...now how are you going to narrow it down to just a few (several other folks have entered a few)

Debbi, here's our ROC-BON schedule:

Dep. ROCH 8:15 on Delta to Atlanta, then also Delta ATL to SJ, then American Eagle 6:40 flight to BON. Coming back is reverse. Still a long day, but a LOT less expensive than AA all the way. Alan's fare for 3 weeks is $690, mine for six weeks is $835. What the heck, it's only money.

We couldn't make anything else work without an overnight in both direction somewhere. Wish AJ would leave later from one of the US gateways, so we could get there the same day.

It's a good job we have such a wonderful, affordable place to stay down there --- AND Benny will dive with me too now. Can't wait.

Will post a China trip report. Alan says he can make a webpage for our photos, but I dont' hold my breath -- he doesn't have a "get around to it" gene.

I don't know what topic to post this under so I guess this one will do! While I was getting ready to go diving last night I found a baby iguana in our house. I just had to take a photo of him. Isn't he precious???

Darn Ellen....I'd love to find an iguana in the house, tropical fish in my backyard, donkeys on the street and a web cam at my neighbor's front door!! I just need to be there.

Sometimes this board just makes you long for Bonaire so bad it hurts.....
