I am new to posting on this board.

My wife got me hooked reading it and I decided to register and join in the fun. Looking forward to our second trip to Bonaire sometime in 2003, I can't wait to use all of the info we have learned here to make our second trip to the island that much more enjoyable!

We went for Thanksgiving week in 2001!!!

Looks like our next trip will be in 2003, we can't decide when until we can talk our friends from TN into going. We will have to work out everyones vacation plans.

Welcome David....we were there Thanksgiving 2001 also.....Where did you stay?

We were at the Sand dollar, ther was a group of about 15 of us!!

Dave we were at Sandollar last Nov. also....wish you had a profile picture!...Were you able to catch the slide show presentation? There were people filming the squid off of Bari reef in Nov.

We stayed in the same building that houses the office. we were on the first floor in the condo under the stair case, I can't remember what the number was.

We did not see the slide show but we were there for the GEEN FLASH PARTY!!!

I was the one smoking the Cigar!!!!! Our group was loud and obnoxious (sp)? anyway we all gathered for pictures out by the shop during the party. Maybe you remember us?

Dave we were in the condo right by the dive shop. Last one on the end with the screened porch....I was the one with Andre's dog following me around. we bring him food (the dog..not Andre!) when we come down....I have never met anyone obnoxious on Bonaire! You were just having a great time.....!

I don't know... we were pretty bad the day of the flash party, my wife and I were talking about it last nite!!!! It sure was good to relive those memories!

arriving in bonaire in 11 days but who's counting.anybody know anything about the ferry from bonaire to curacao?

I have been "eavesdropping" on this bulletin board site since I stumbled upon it while booking our trip. I have appreciated the insight I have gotten on Bonaire from all the postings. My husband & I will be there Sept 14 to Sept 22! Getting pretty excited about it too :-) We are fairly newbies at diving - approx 50 to 60 dives so far. (Hubby is finishing up his rescue diver certification this month). This will be our second ocean dive trip; our first was off the Yucatan Peninsula in Akumal, Mexico. We picked Bonaire because it sounded like we could have some of the same intimate (not real crowded) diving that we had at Akumal. Plus, we come to dive!

Welcome Aboard, Karen! You lucky lady....headed for Bonaire in a few weeks' time!! You will fall in love with Bonaire, as you can tell by the postings on this board. Once you visit Bonaire, you will be spoiled forever. Have a great time on the island and relax and enjoy all that she has to offer, which is plentiful. Carole
