TIP # 1

I have been reading several posts lately about having wet money and carrying drivers licences.

I just wanted to let everyone kow what I do.

First, before and actually when I get any new credit cards, licence's, passports, or anything that needs to be carried around - I make copies of them. For tstorage I have a heavy weight packet everything goes in. One copy stays home the other travels with me of whatever I might need. I also laminate a copy of my licence and the picture page of my passport.

I have an old diving light I carry those in it plus extra money and car keys. This is clipped to my BC. If I am stopped then atleast anyone can see I have proof of who I am and I have a licence.

Plus, thankfully I have had not had to do it - with the copies I can take care of everything in case they are lost or stolen.

Last week I was at a friends house and they have traveled all over the world and I mentioned this to them, my friend got up right then and there and started copying.

Most everyone has a copier at home - so now that you are done reading this GO DO IT!

Even having the picture files on your computer could and will save you a very big headache.

TIP #2
Question - can you describe exactly in detail all the details about your scuba gear, electronics you are traveling with or your suitacases?
Answer - Probably not - then get that digital camera out and take photos - remember a photo is worth a 1,000 words!

TIP #3
Again use that digital camera when you are taking things apart then at least you know how to put it back together and not have that one part left over and trying to remember where the heck it went.
