Annie,
We are not coming down until July 27th but if noone else reading this post is coming any earlier we will be more than happy to help. I will keep checking this thread to see how the situation progresses and take appropriate action to assure you of pants.

Jim

Annie,

We can do it if no one's coming down sooner than Saturday next week (July 13th)

Let me know if that's acceptable and I'll give your mom a call.

Oh! oh! - Little Annie Phelans' got no pants!!

Let's see - Bathing suit 1, bathing suit 2, ...
all the essentials for a trip to Bonaire. And ONLY six weeks too. Fed Ex man - fly those pants on down.

How will she EVER live this down? Betcha she could get some "loaners" on Bonaire! smile

Thanks for the fun Ann! Better make sure you give us some street cam time - pants or no pants.

Bill

Gosh, Annie wish I could bring them right there to you myself! I think it will take you some time to live this one down! Hope you and Maggie are having a great time and getting lots of organizing done. Sure do miss you here at home in New England! Sue

Annie, if you're anywhere between a size 10 - 14, I've got a few pairs I could spare, no problem. Bas knows where I live--just ring the doorbell that's on the left side of our garage door between 10am - 10pm.

And for the rest of you 'northeners'........we do wear jeans here-especially when it drops to a chilly 78 degrees-with the tradewind windchill factor, it feels like 75-BRRRRRR!

I've got Annie covered - going down in a week (yah!), and from the description of the pants she gave me to tell her mom, I'd say these are her partying pants, not your run-of-the-mill blue jeans...

Cynde, they do sell Levi's at Angelo's shop on the corner next to Maduro Bank (I was offering Ann Taylor jeans...definitely n/a here). Party pants are sold at Littman's ("Jams") & Celine (high lycra/spandex percentage).

It should've been obvious to all of sooner when she used the excuse 'Bugs are biting my legs,' because you can just buy "Cutter" or "Off" at the botica.........

Party on!

Way to go Cynde Lee -- Annie should be all set to party all night now (and remember Annie I know you do --- when I met you in the airport you had come off an all nighter of partying before departing for home!) Sue

ps for Cynde Lee -- my oldest daughter lives in southern california and being the newly fanatical diver that I am I am trying to convince her to go for certification which she can get for a good price as a UC grad student. Do you dive while at home in southern calif or only in lovely Bonaire????

Annie .... we will be watching for you! Hope all is well with your planning and that you and Maggie are having fun. Don't think you will get much sympathy for the rain since you are in Bonaire and we are not! Weather here in New England has been great! Sue
