I am getting conflicting reports on which currency is being used on Bonaire. Is it Guilders or EURO's? I am told still no problem using USD but with the USD changing value daily some vendors perfer EURO's. What is recommended?

The guilder pegged is at 1.75 to the Dollar and Euros not usually used or accepted in most places. So bring Dollars

What source are you using that told you that Euros were preferred on Bonaire? I wouldn't trust it for anything. Guilders best, dollars a close second, Euros a distant third.

Thanks Guy's I got my original info from Travelex currency exchange. A friend of mine also told me the same thing you just did and he just returned from Bonaire last week.
