Hi all,

Linda and I bumped into Glen Reem here on-island last night and he really wants to go to Gibi's, so we're now officially setting up a BonaireTalk dinner at Gibi's on Tuesday, July 9th, at 6:30pm. Gibi's serves great local food - nice ambiance too.

If you're going to be on Bonaire next week, and want to join us (Dutch treat though), post a note here so I can warn Gibi with a rough head count.

Jake we are arriving there saturday and would love to go to the dinner there will be 4 of us. Your birdcage is intransit and should be here before we leave on Sat. We should see you on sun as going to the art festival is on our list to do. If you can think of anything else you need please let me know it will not be a problem to bring it. If Linda needs and art supplys I dont mind getting it either. I cant wait I am driving everyone crazy about this trip they say I am getting more milage out of this trip. First it was finding out about bonaire, then it was about getting the best deal going to bonaire, then it was about this bt and all the neat people, now its about I cant wait only 3 more days till we leave, then when I come back it will be about everything we did, and after that it will be about how I can finance the next adventure.

Wish Joe and I could join the gang at Gibi's...fell in love with the place this past trip! They even had to turn away "regular" customers the eve we were all there as we had taken up every single table and chair they had at Gibi's! It was terrific. Carole

I'll try to remember that when I have my birthday at the end of this month. Eek! I may join my son in his birthday strike. He has decided not to have his next birthday #6 because he would then have to go to 1st grade and have homework.

Another Leo in the house? Mine is at the end of this month, too, but I no longer "count" the years! Much like Bas!! That is great, Joe says "he's a kid after my own heart!!". Looks like everyone was having a great time and looking forward to chow time, too. Gibi must be doing very well these days with the BT gatherings...he is a nice man and can whip up some great culinary delights, for sure! Definitely will be returning to Gibi's many more times in the futre.

Great pictures, Jake!!! But where's the new Bonaire Talk T-shirt model? I don't see her in any of the pictures? ha ha ha By the way, where do I go to sign up for membership? I can't seem to find it? We got home yesterday afternoon (boo hoo) and are trying to adjust to "reality" again!!! Can't wait to be back there...feel like we've left home and come to visit a strange land!!!

Hi Jake, I was just kidding!! I'm not really that anxious to be infamous!!!
We had a GREAT time on Bonaire. Getting to meet some of the people we've been "talking" with was a dream come true. Had soooo many positive experiences, met sooo many friendly, helpful folks, and did NOT want to get on the plane for the return flight!!!! Planning on coming back in Dec. if all goes well. Hope by that time to have my open water certification so I can DIVE!!! I LOVE learning to snorkel and swimming with the fishes, BUT...now I want to see what's down where I can't see by snorkeling!!!! You guys have a safe, fun holiday in London!!! ;-)

Pictures 3, 4, & 5 are a group from Central Florida, all staying at the Black Durgon. (We took up all 10 rooms!) I'm at the end of the table in the white Tee, next to the dashingly good looking guy in the sun glasses - (those are his words!!! But after 27 yrs, who's to argue!) it was a treat to say hello to so many BTers! Tomorrow is back to work...... going to be VERY rough! Gail
