With the dissolution of the Netherlands Antilles in December, will there be a Bonaire national football team? I was surprised that Bonaire have never played before as an island (All the other islands, even tiny Sint Eustatius and Saba have played matches as individual islands). Can someone please tell me if it is true that Bonaire have never played even against Curacao or Aruba?

I was at a match in Bonaire on Fri. Mar 28, A Bonaire select team [@ under 23] played Aruba. It was a good match though Bonaire looked as though they were going to lose. We left at half as we had an early flight out.
