Can any of you cigar aficianados give me an idea of general cigar prices on Bonaire. I've been to a number of the Caribbean islands and many of them who advertise the Cuban cigar thing really jack up the prices for the "tourists". Cuban cigars really don't trip my trigger and many of them arn't really Cubans anyway. I'm just wondering if I can afford an average cigar on Bonaire or if I should bring a few from home.

We have to pay 64% Duty plus 5% OB tax when we import cuban cigars. Prices range from $5.50 to $28 per cigar. I have on occasion been fooled by counterfeits, but have changed suppliers that I trust 100% Also, some sellers will tell you that their cigars are made in Cuba but say Dominican Republic on the box to fool US customs. That is not true.

$20 for a Churchill is about right.
